Main Goals for 2024​

The primary objectives we have outlined for the year 2024 include:

  1. Public Website with Data Explorer and Documentation: A comprehensive platform that facilitates access to vital information.

  2. Mobile Application: An app that interacts with the vehicle, offering safety assistance and navigation for clients.

  3. Earth Observation Algorithms: Algorithms designed to evaluate the road conditions based on space images, providing input to the RoadSense platform as an additional information source.

  4. Reliable and Scalable Backend and Infrastructure: A robust system capable of aggregating diverse sources of real-time and historical data supplied by vehicles, weather forecasts, satellite images, governmental services, and other platforms.

Key Milestones​

We have also defined some crucial milestones to be achieved:

  • Q2 2024: Release the website with a detailed description of how to use and contribute to the platform. The data explorer will allow users to visualize which regions and roads have recently been covered, as well as those that were never examined through a satellite or vehicle connected to our platform.

  • Q2 2024: Release the mobile application with capabilities of navigating using the safest road, warning the user of road hazards, and providing a platform to connect and share real-time and anonymous vehicle data with other users on the road.
